Hot Springs

A top resort destination dating back nearly a century, Hot Springs has reinvented itself as a modern spa resort city with plenty of activities for the entire family. Known for its natural hot spring mineral water, people have been descending upon the area for the healing powers of these springs since before the founding of the country. Today, Bathhouse Row at Hot Springs National Park is the center point and main attraction of the community. Featuring eight bathhouses built between 1892 and 1923, the healing powers of the natural spring water are still sought by tourists to this day. Hot Springs is also home to Oaklawn Park, a popular horse racing venue that hosts thoroughbred racing between January and April each year. For families, Magic Springs and Crystal Falls Water and Theme Park offer thrills for all ages. Hot Springs truly is one of the vacation spots in the South that offers a variety of activities that can please every member of the family.
